Farm Minis

Farm Minis

Here are your instructions for this coming weekend. I'm so excited to see everyone. Below you'll find hopefully all the information you need.

Info

Where are the sessions?

We're going to be just outside Woodstock on Highway 2 out towards the drive in (It's actually before the train tracks)

684607 Highway 2 East Zorra-Tavistock

Where should we park?

You're going to park off to the left hand side of the drive across from the house. Making sure the driveway/laneway stays clear for any farm vehicles.

What should we wear?

Most importantly dress for the weather. Warm clothes, layered so that kids and adults like stay nice and warm. I'll post the link below to my what to wear page on my website.

What does the package include?

Sessions are 20 minutes long and will come with 15 images of your choice once your gallery is done.

What's the cost again and how do I pay?

The session is $300 plus tax ($339.00) minus a deposit if you paid one. That can be paid in cash anytime between your session date and the delivery of your proof gallery, or EMT'd to vanwalk.photog@gmail.com (anytime between the session date and the photos being done)

Can we bring our dog?

Absolutely! Dogs need to remain on a leash at all times. And please clean up after them.

How long until I see my photos?

Turnaround time is about 4 weeks right now. I'm trying to go as quickly as I can because I know everyone can't wait to see their images.

(If you need them ASAP, you can pay a rush fee of $150 - no tax - and I'll have them to you within 48 hours)

What if I want more than my 15 images?

You can purchase additional images for $15 + tax each, or you can purchase the whole gallery for $150 + tax.

What if it's raining?

I see the forecast, and it's looking a little dicey, but the weather is constantly changing so I'm still very hopeful it will be okay. I will be in contact day of if there's a chance we won't be able to do them. I always aim to shoot where possible, even if that means shooting in some light rain. However, if that's not your idea of a good time, I can slot you into one of my other mini sessions, or we can find a time that works. But it will be at another location.

Someone in my house is sick

It's cold and flu season, so I totally get that illness happens. If the sick person is still in okay spirits I would say we can continue as planned, but at your discretion.

Where do we go when we get there?

I'll come get you from your car when I'm ready for you! We'll be going to the other side of the house into the field so when it's your turn I'll come grab you.

I'm going to be late!

I have a 10 minute buffer between sessions for hellos and goodbyes. If you're going to be more than 10 minutes late please let me know!

Because sessions are booked back to back if the session after you is there before you I'll take them first to keep the timeline moving and I'll get you in when I can. But PLEASE try to be on time.

Things to note:

*This is a farm. The ground is rustic and there may be smells.

*The trees have not yet turned as orange as they have in the photos above that I took at the same time of year as last year. This is the gamble with fall colours. Rest assured your final edits will be warm and delicious.

*This is someones home, and work. Please be respectful of the property.

*Sessions are quick, please have any kiddos dressed, hair done, faces wiped and ready to go out of the vehicle so we don't waste any of your session time!
