Here are your instructions for this coming weekend. I'm so excited to see everyone. It's looking like it's going to be a little chilly but not too bad. Below you'll find hopefully all the information you need.
Info
Where?
We're going to be at The Butcher Barn just outside of Bright. The address is:
885865 Oxford Road 8, Bright.
Where should we park?
You're going to park off to the side of the laneway. to the left or the right. Just don't block the laneway because there will be lots of people in and out to go back to the butcher shop. The spot where we'll be shooting will be not far from the road, so don't drive past the house. Park Just inside the entrance past the sign.
What should we wear?
Most importantly dress for the weather. Warm clothes, layered so that kids and adults like stay nice and warm. I'll post the link below to my what to wear page on my website. Mittens and hats might even be a good idea for a few shots.
Note that because of the dark red couch, maybe avoid wearing maroon as you'll blend in a bit if you're on the couch)
What does the package include?
Sessions are 20 minutes long and will come with 10 images of your choice once your gallery is done.
WHat's the cost again and how do I pay?
The session is $275 plus tax ($310.75) minus a deposit if you paid one. That can be paid in cash anytime between your session date and the delivery of your proof gallery, or EMT'd to vanwalk.photog@gmail.com (anytime between the session date and the photos being done)
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Dogs need to remain on a leash at all times. There are dogs on the property but they'll be inside the house during the sessions.
Do we have to do the whole session by the couch?
Heck no! Theres lots of space for photos. We can do some with the farm house in the background and the large ever greens but the main feature is the couch setup.
Can we visit the Butcher Shop?
Absolutely! You can walk down from the photoshoot location and enter the butcher shop through the front door. (Be mindful of vehicles and construction) I've been told that they may not have the fridge full for display but there is a light on the wall of what they offer. There will also be hot chocolate available, and the owners kindly offered my clients 10% off their purchase. Just tell them you were there doing photos. (You can only pay with cash or EMT on the spot - no debit or credit)
How long until I see my photos?
I'm going to try to have the photos done within two weeks for you to choose your favourites from. I know everyone is eager to get prints and gifts put together so I promise I will work as fast as I can to get them done. (If you need them ASAP, you can pay a rush fee of $150 - no tax - and I'll have them to you within 48 hours)
What if I want more than my 10 images?
You can purchase additional images for $15 + tax each, or you can purchase the whole gallery for $150 + tax.
What if it's raining?
Fingers crossed it won't. There isn't a reschedule date for these (that doesn't mean I can't plan one in December if we do get rained out) so we are definitely going to hope for the best. I also have other minis I can slot you into if necessary.
Someone in my house is sick
It's cold and flu season, so I totally get that illness happens. If the sick person is still in okay spirits I would say we can continue as planned, but at your discretion. Because the sessions are so quick, it won't be horrible if you're under the weather.
