Sessions will be held at White Countryside which is located at 954 Concession 12 Townsend, Waterford, ON.
Please park on the road/consession, or on the side of the laneway and come to the front door at your session time.

Upon entering, clients will be asked to sign a liability waiver for the venue. This releases the property owner from liability in the unfortunate case of an injury.

I know those little bladders may need to go upon your arrival. There are two bathrooms in the house for us to use. Please make sure to clean up after yourself or your children.

The basement is unavailable for use. There is a cat and dog around the property, please treat them with respect if you see them. I know that kids can be a little clumsy or rough, please treat the space respectively. If by chance you or your child break something, you would be held responsible for replacement. Please no jumping on any furniture. There is a rope swing but needs to be used gently and not as an actual swing.

Sessions are booked back to back in 30 minute blocks. 20 minutes of shooting, 10 minutes of arrival and departure buffer. If you are going to be late, please send me a text 5196083487 and let me know your start time and what your estimated arrival time is. Unfortunately I am not able to make up your time, or switch you to another timeslot. If you are going to be late beyond your 30 minute window your session will be cancelled and any money paid already will be used to cover your missed timeslot at the venue. Monies paid cannot be transferred to another date or session. So please arrive early to avoid missing out on any time.

Have children arrive with full tummies and clean faces. Sessions are meant to be a documentary look at your relationship with your children, so try not to get too worked up about their behaviour. They'll act how they're going to act, so just roll with it!

Yes and no. Sessions will be mostly child led with some prompting and guidance from yours truly. We will try to flow organically through the house to hit a few different rooms to keep things fresh and exciting for your tiny humans (hopefully) keeping them happy and engaged throughout the session.

If you don't plan to utilize the client wardrobe (always good to have a backup outfit just in case) I would suggest solid neutrals. Mixed fabrics, and nice layered pieces. Denim and white is a great failsafe for this space if you're stuck for ideas. Any dresses should have tights or a pair of shorts underneath for little girls to avoid any underpants showing. Kids should wear clothes that are comfortable, fit nicely and are clean. Plan for bare feet, nice socks, or with shoes that compliment the outfits. To be clear, the client wardrobe is only for the mums (and any female teens you might have with you) your littles will need to have outfits.

Hopefully if I've timed everything correctly I'll open the door to wave you in or shoot you a message letting you know I'm ready for you. You can also wait on the front porch of the house, but for the privacy of my clients, please don't peer in any windows.

Sessions are $350+HST ($395.50) minus whatever you've already put down on the session. Session balances can be paid in cash on day of, or sent via email to vanwalk.photog@gmail.com

Your finished gallery will be ready for viewing within 4 weeks of the session date. You can then choose your favourites and they'll be sent to you via your email. (in a zip file)

Absolutely. Additional images are $15 each or you can upgrade your package to include your full gallery (all your best images - not every single one I took) for $150 (no hst)

You can also purchase a wooden keepsake box of photo prints or polaroids starting at $50 (price will vary depending on the amount of prints and the type)

You'd be surprised how much I can get from very little. If you keep things light hearted and fun, hopefully kids will mirror that. If you have any specific concerns regarding your children, or need any accommodations made for your extra spicy kiddo, please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know how to best connect with your child.

The more outfit changes the less time you'll have for shooting. Spend your time wisely.

Unfortunately there will be no reshoot date for these sessions. The retainer you pay will cover your time slot at the rental and cannot be transferred to any other date.
