General Info

These sessions are going to be quick and painless (hopefully) Be sure to dress really warm, arrive on time, and come with a happy heart and ready to have fun. Dogs are absolutely welcome but must be on a leash as it's a public park. Sessions are booked back to back with very little buffer in between so please be on time.

Where are we going?


You are going to the Lansdowne entrance to Roth Park. It's at the end of Lansdowne Ave before it turns into Township Road 3. The parking lot is right at the curve. Closest address line I can give you is 707 Lansdowne Ave. You should see the parking lot as you go around the curve. Follow this LINK for the google map dropped pin. That's where you'll park. You'll then walk on the trail, down a small hill, and take the left turn to stay on the concrete path. Eventually you'll come to a bench (just past emergency marker 111) on the right hand side of the path. This is where I'll come out to meet you, so just wait there for me.

Please Dress for the weather


Nothing derails a session faster than cold children. If you are a person who doesn't do well in the cold, or have kiddos who struggle with being cold, PLEASE dress them warm. Get some hand warmers for their pockets. Mitts, hats, double or triple layers. If they're upset about the cold, it's going to show on their faces in a big way. Don't make them "just deal with it" for 20 minutes. Set them up for success.

Where am I going?

What do I do when I get there?

Wait for me. I'll come out to the bench when I'm ready for you!

How do the timeslots work?

Sessions are booked every 30 minutes. Sessions are 20 minutes with a 10 minute buffer for hellos and goodbyes. Please arrive by your timeslot and be ready to start.

How soon will I get my photos?

I'm going to try to have them done as quickly as humanly possible. Aiming for 7-10 days. If you need them sooner than that, I have a rush fee option of $150 no tax and you'll have them within 24 hours.

What's the package again?

Sessions are $200 plus tax ($226)
They'll be 20 minutes long
You'll get to choose your 10 favourites from a gallery of your best images

Can I buy extras if I want more than 3?

Absolutely. Extras are $15 each (plus tax) or your full gallery (all the ones I put in your proof gallery) for $150 plus tax.

How do I pay you?

The session is $200 plus tax ($226) and you can bring cash day of or send me an EMT to vanwalk.photog@gmail.com on the day of, or once the photos are done.

Will you do previews?

Not this time. If I can just focus on getting the sessions done and sent out without having to do previews you'll get them much faster.
